After the MOL League Clubs had voted to include the Vienna Capitals into the MOL League the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation approved the decision of the League.
At the league meeting at the end of May the Capitals had presented their bid to join the MOL League. Based off of this the league members voted to take Vienna into the league. The team plans to have one line of import players, one line of experienced Austrian players with the roster being rounded out by young players who have come up through the Austrian and the Vienna Capitals youth system.
The league and the team are in discussions about the finals steps of the club to join the league.
